I am in total agreement with #2 about being flexible. We have taken trips where we have planned nothing, those usually ended badly, and we have taken trips where everything is planned, boring. To find the right balance is key. Hopefully with this next trip we will have found that (fingers crossed). I have planned where we are staying each night and for how long, other than that everything is flexible. We will see how that works out. I loved your visit to D.C. I have never been there, but am a big history lover, so I am sure I would find it very interesting.

I'm so glad that I was part of your travel. I do love your thoughts, they are spot on...

I've a presentation next week, and I am at the search for such info.
