Started off well when a random stranger stopped us to tell us we were “glowing,” followed by lunch at the festive Zuni Cafe, some confectionary and ornament shopping, a mad dash down Market St. after we discovered we were at the wrong theater, a charming matinee of “A Bronx Tale”, seats on BART (both ways!) and a dramatic SF skyline sunset view when we stepped off the train.
