    • Now that I’ve done a transatlantic crossing I realize stories of water crossings have always been with me. Noah, Lehi, Columbus, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, Kate & Leo. And, of course, all those immigrant ancestors. Our crossing was easy compared to theirs but not without its challenges. Three of our seven days at sea were rough with 25 foot waves and winds at near hurricane status. But despite some seasickness, watching the water and sky was endlessly fascinating.
